Join us for an afternoon of geologic exploration of the Holmes Run Gorge and the exposed rocks within! Joe Marx, an experienced lecturer and Geology Professor at NoVa Community College,  will give us an interesting and informative presentation about the geology of the Holmes Run Gorge followed by a hike to see and talk about the geologic places of interest within Dora Kelley Nature Park.
